|
|
Hi
There is an update of the TurnTool Viewer V2 available now.
You can download it here. http://www.turntool.com/ViewerInstall.exe
The TurnTool Viewer will now use OpenGL for rendering under Window Vista.
In all other version of Windows the TurnTool Viewer will work as always detecting whether to use DirectX or OpenGL depending on your graphics hardware. _________________ Best regards,

TurnTool Viewer V2 has been updated.
Recent updates for Windows Vista caused a problem when the TurnTool Viewer tried to update itself when using Mozilla Firefox under Windows Vista in non-administrator mode.
This problem has now been resolved.
You can download the updated viewer here.
The executable below will update the viewer for both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
http://www.turntool.com/ViewerInstall.exe
If you only want to update the viewer for Firefox then you can download the xpi file below and drag it to your firefox window.

TurnTool Viewer V2.9.5.2 is online.
Progressive Antialiasing has now been supported in OpenGL.
Progressive Antialiasing kicks in when the scene is motionless.
First Antialiasing Parse will give each pixel on the screen a 2x2 pixel accuracy.
Sececond Antialiasing Parse will give each pixel on the screen a 4x4 pixel accuracy.
Progressive Antialiasing also enables rendering of huge images directly for the TurnTool Viewer.
Until recently only machines using DirectX had access to this feature.
You can download the updated viewer here.

TurnTool Viewer V2.9.5.6 has been released today.
The issues fixed in this release were introduced with the release of Internet Explorer 8 running either Windows Vista or Windows 7. The plugin for Firefox was unaffected.
Internet Explorer 8 running on Windows Vista or Windows 7 seems to enforce that plug-in's receive keyboard and mouse events from the windows message system only.
Modifications in TurnTool Viewer V2.9.5.6 take these changes into account.
In other words Internet Explorer 8 under Windows Vista and Windows 7 is now fully supported by the TurnTool Viewer.

A problem occuring only on Windows Vista 64 bit system using the video-driver called 'nvd3dum.dll' from OpenGL has been solved.
The OpenGL implementation of this video-driver seems to eat the WM_MOUSEMOVE window message. Code to by pass the problem has been added in TurnTool Viewer V2.9.5.9.
TurnTool Viewer V2.9.5.9 can be downloaded here.
