TurnToolBox

Release of the TurnToolBox2008

TurnTool ApS is proud to join the ranks of 64-bit software providers. TurnToolBox2008 is now compatible with the 64-bit versions of 3D Studio Max.

64-bit functionality
The TurnTool Core has been recompiled for the new 64 bit processor architecture. The new 64 bit processor architecture allows for more memory allocation and better performance.
However TurnToolBox2008 will still continue to work with 32-bit versions of 3D Studio Max.

New easy to setup-Camera object
Our users have asked for an easy to use walk-camera with physic abilities. TurnToolBox2008 introduces a new and easy way to set-up a walk-object. When a Walk-object is used in a TurnTool scene, the end-user can walk around in your scene using the arrow keys from a web-browser. Previously the artist had to create a physics sphere and link that to a camera. That process was too difficult as there was too much room for mistakes.

The new TNT-Walk primitive creates a correctly set-up Walk-Object by a single click. The height and radius can then be configured separately and multiple pre-sets of physics settings can be chosen from a drop-down menu. This allows you to achieve better results in less time. 



Auto detection
TurnToolBox2008 automatically detects the installation paths for 3D-Studio Max and Autodesk Viz. Autodesk Viz now has its own install panel so it can be installed separately from 3D Studio Max.

Various bug-fixes and optimizations have been implemented to the TurnTool Core. This gives you fewer problems and better performance.

New update of the TurnTool Viewer now available!

New features include improved performance under Windows Vista and support of the latest graphics card drivers.

Engine and Core updates
To accommodate recent changes to the NVIDIA drivers, we have updated the core of the TurnTool Viewer. Furthermore we have adjusted the engine to give the end-user a smoother and overall better experience with the TurnTool software, through support of OpenGL for rendering under Windows Vista.

What to do
If you (or your customers) want to experience the difference under Windows Vista, all you need to do is follow this link and get updated!

All TNT files exported with the latest version of the TurnToolBox will automatically give your customers the latest version of the TurnTool Viewer. So to make sure that your TurnTool projects work under Windows Vista, we recommend that you download and install the latest version of the TurnToolBox here

The TurnToolbox now supports ArchiCAD 11!

At TurnTool we always keep our customers updated with the latest software support, and we are proud to announce the release of our support to ArchiCAD 11.

It has become increasingly easier to use, and has a lot of new features, that are worth checking out. For more information go to Graphisofts Homepage.

TurnToolBox supports Cinema 4D R10

The TurnToolBox has been updated to support Cinema4D R10. More and more users are working in Cinema4D R10. Due to this TurnTool has chosen to update the TurnToolBox in order to let our costumers use TurnTool with their favourite 3d-program.

New features includes : - Template support. - Improved support for UV-Mapping. - Smaller TNT file-sizes. - Less memory usage while exporting. Click here and download the latest version of the TurnToolBox for free.

TurnTool presents PlanEdit!

Converting 2D images into 3D scenes and revolutionizing the house market, PlanEdit is setting a new trade standard when buying or selling houses.

Sense of space
When buying a house you often lack the sense of space and direction as to where the different rooms are placed. When selling a house getting the most exposure is a key factor. PlanEdit is the answer to all this.

Walk around in 3D
Combining the well-known “TurnTool viewer” with actual houses and apartments you get the solution every house buyer / seller needs. The house / apartment is converted from the standard 2D floor plan image into an interactive 3D scene giving the user opportunity for a stroll through the house of choice, and making it fun too.

Customize your house / apartment
Furthermore it is possible to rearrange furniture, select between different types of floor, set the wall color and more. Soon after the launch of the PlanEdit floor plan system another Danish real-estate chain called Realmaeglerne approached us and expressed their interest in PlanEdit.
Realmaeglerne wanted their own custom HTML template so the layout of the page containing the PlanEdit 3D content was matched the layout the rest of their website. The result can be seen on this page.

Realmaeglerne started up in September and have already a PlanEdit solution on several of the their cases.
